How JobLumy handles your data
Last updated: April 23, 2026
Public alpha notice
JobLumy is currently in public alpha. Features, data handling flows, and integrations may change as we improve the service. We will keep this page updated as the product evolves.
Information we collect
We collect the information needed to operate your account, including your email, name, authentication details, profile preferences, notification settings, and feedback you submit.
We also store job search data you choose to add, such as saved jobs, application stages, follow-up dates, private notes, resume metadata, career page alerts, and referral activity.
Resumes and application data
Resumes and private notes are treated as private account data. They are used to help you organize your job search and are not shown to other applicants.
Application outcomes may contribute to aggregate community signals only after privacy thresholds are met, so individual users are not exposed.
AI-assisted job insights
JobLumy may use AI providers to summarize job descriptions and extract role details. We send only the job description or job-related text needed for that task.
Do not add sensitive personal information into job descriptions or feedback fields unless it is necessary.
Analytics and service providers
We may use privacy-conscious analytics, hosting, database, storage, email, authentication, and AI providers to operate the product.
These providers process data only as needed to deliver the service, such as sending sign-in links, storing resumes, running the app, or measuring product usage.
Your controls
You can update your profile, notification preferences, application data, and resumes from within the app. You can also contact us if you need help deleting account data.
For privacy questions, use the feedback form in your account so we can review the request with your account context.
